QR barcodes are barcodes initially used for tracking parts in vehicle manufacturing, QR codes now are used in a much broader context, including both commercial tracking applications and convenience-oriented applications aimed at mobile phone users (termed mobile tagging). QR codes may be used to display text to the user, to add a vCard contact to the users device, to open a website, or even compose an e-mail or text message!
If you are feeling really cool you can follow the link to a QR code generator (click on QR barcode test graphics above) and generate your own QR code with name address phone number, annoying message - whatever.
Alternatively below is my cool QR code T shirt design for you to order...
The message on the QR code T Shirt is:
ALL THE GEEKS GOT ME WAS THIS LOUSY QR CODE T-SHIRT.
IT DOESNT EVEN HAVE MY NAME ON IT ...SIGH.

QR codes are read by most smartphones - they are the codes you see on movie posters and printed ads. To test just how good your smartphone is at reading QR codes we have created a QR code test graphic which you can get by clicking on the picture.
QR codes storing addresses and Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) may appear in magazines, on signs, buses, business cards, or almost any object about which users might need information. Users with a camera phone equipped with the correct reader application can scan the image of the QR code to display text, contact information, connect to a wireless network, or open a web page in the telephones browser. This act of linking from physical world objects is termed hardlinking or object hyperlinking.
Here at Twotsi we have our own
online QR code Generator which lets you generate QR codes online for free.
QR codes can be read by PCs using special software, or there is a free online QR code reader
here.
